Pelin Munis, Ph.D. is the Chief Executive Officer of RestoringVision and has been leading the organization since January 2015. An accomplished professional, applied Psychologist and entrepreneur, Pelin brought to the position more than 20 years of executive planning, administration, communications and marketing experience in for- and non-profit sectors.
Prior to joining RestoringVision, Pelin founded and operated a distribution company that imported resort wear from Europe to the U.S. The company held exclusivity of established brands and launched them in the U.S., expanding to 7 markets in under 5 years.
Prior to that Pelin was a consultant to non-profit organizations and government funded programs. She worked in program development and evaluation for the Department of Justice and Florida Departments of Health and Human Services. She was awarded government grants and has published papers in professional journals.
She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from The George Washington University, an M.S. degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Miami.
