Elizabeth Walsh

Vice President of Communications and Marketing

Elizabeth Walsh serves as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at RestoringVision, where she is responsible for strategic communications and integrated marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility, reach, and reputation of the organization.

Elizabeth comes to RestoringVision with more than three decades of experience in communications, public relations, and marketing. Most recently, she was the Communications Director for two global, U.S. government funded malaria control programs at Abt Global, working across 20 countries to tell the stories about this life-saving work. Prior to that, she led communications for global projects at Chemonics and Management Sciences for Health, overseeing branding, messaging, digital media, and events. As director of communications and marketing for Humentum, she led the rebranding of this global membership association of NGOs and development organizations. She also served as the communications lead at Americares during the Indian Ocean Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina.

Elizabeth began her career in public relations, working for a variety of consumer products and luxury travel clients. After more than a decade of working in New York City agencies, she joined the U.S. Peace Corps and served as a Small Business Development Volunteer for three years in Benin, West Africa.

She holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School of Management and Social Policy at Brandeis University, as well as a B.A. in Communication Arts from Iona College.
