Mario Alvarez serves as the Director of Technology at RestoringVision, where he leads the organization’s technology strategy and operations. He oversees the design, implementation, and optimization of RestoringVision’s technology infrastructure, encompassing software systems, network architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital tools that support organizational growth and impact. Mario drives innovation, ensures seamless integration, and collaborates across teams to boost efficiency and data security.
Mario has over 23 years of experience in information technology and operations management, including two decades in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining RestoringVision, he spent 18 years as the Information Technology Manager at the Kabbalah Centre International, where he led enterprise-wide technology initiatives and managed global IT infrastructure. Prior to that, he served as the Operations Manager at Diario La Gaceta, overseeing logistics and driving process improvements across departments.
Mario holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Ecuador and is certified in Microsoft Cybersecurity Architecture, IT Service Management, and VMware VCP. Mario brings a unique combination of technical expertise, operational insight, and mission-driven leadership to his work.
