Gerardo Medina serves as Manager of Programs and Monitoring at RestoringVision and leads projects with INGO, NGO, and government partners across Latin America and the Caribbean. Gerardo was raised in a family of opticians. Visual health became part of his life early on, creating a significant understanding of how a pair of eyeglasses can enhance someone’s life.
Prior to joining RestoringVision, Gerardo served as a Social Responsibility Coordinator in the textile industry in Mexico and held various Director positions at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where he coordinated projects with nonprofit organizations for more than eight years. Prior to that, he worked in the petroleum and electrical safety industry in Mexico and the United States.
Gerardo holds an MBA degree from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de las Americas Puebla.
