Why is RestoringVision’s mission important to you?

For me, it is the potential to help make a huge impact on so many peoples’ lives around the world at such little cost.  When I learned about the work that RV does, I truly became passionate about the mission.  I love that it is a universally accepted good cause that transcends religious, cultural, or political differences.

What do you enjoy most about your work at RestoringVision thus far?

The last two months have been so exciting for me!  The best part has to be the RV team.  Everyone has been so welcoming and genuine.  It inspires me to work with colleagues who are so passionate about their work and contributing to our collective goals.

Who inspires you most in life and why?

My fellow humans definitely inspire me the most.  Although it can be easy to focus on the negatives in the daily news around the world, I constantly try to seek out the good that is happening; and there is so much of it if you just make an effort to look.

What are you most looking forward to this year in your role at RestoringVision?

This is a VERY exciting year for People Operations at RestoringVision!  We have already implemented some new changes that will make working here even better.  There is a lot more to come and I cannot wait for you all to see what we have in store!  I am also excited to start recruiting for some of the new positions we have slated to start in 2024 and bring on some great additions to our growing team!

What do you do in your free time when you’re not solving the global vision crisis?

Living in Orlando and about 10 minutes from Walt Disney World, I do spend a lot of time at the theme parks.  Aside from that, cruising is my other true passion!  I try to get on a cruise ship every chance I get.  My other hobbies include yoga, playing board games, and watching Sci-Fi (I am admittedly a Trekkie!).  Last but not least, I am a HUGE foodie! If you ever need restaurant recommendations, I am your guy!
